Dry and labored writing style MITSA I'm not looking for a fiction fast-paced novel with accounting textbooks. But, I've read enough of them to realize when one is written better than another. This doesn't make the cut. All the critical information is in there, it's all factually consistent and written technically well. But it's a pedantic read. There's very little natural language used and there's no effort to relate to the reader for an easier comprehension experience.. "User-friendly and informative" according to ricardo_guerrero. Good auditing text. Lots of relevant, user-friendly info, especially for beginners like me who are looking to get into auditing as a career path change and don't know a lot about the field yet. This book was used in conjunction with Connect online; all homework and tests were completed on Connect, which made it very easy. I took an Internal Auditing class not long ago and the text for that class was terrible. The chapters all basically said the same thing over and over. This book is much better and I look forward to using it for a long time in the future, including reading some of the chapters that my 10-week cou.
