One thing really annoyed me, and that was the author's inability to settle for the common pronoun "he", or even just the main male character's name. He seemed to feel it was repetitious and resorted to calling him (the only male left in the world!) (not a spoiler, this is revealed in the synopsis) "the man" or "the astronaut" or "the pilot". It got very tiresome and pretentious, just a clumsy distraction. The story was grippinga "little" far fet. "If you enjoy good scifi, this will not disappoint!" according to AvidAviator.
