From Publishers Weekly Like so many rock stars who survive into their 40s, Mötley Crüe front man Neil has produced an autobiography. In one grim episode, an inebriated Neil crashed his Ford Pantera into a Volkswagen, killing his passenger and critically injuring two others. Some people can f*ckin' talk eat up all the oxygen in a room in no time flat. "So where do we start? I remember when we did The Dirt, the Mötley Crüe book, I was interviewed at The Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills. Still, who do you think gets laid more, me or you? But time does change a man. War stories. I've had three plastic surgeries. We are all very lucky we didn't kill ourselves. I like the action. It might look like we were trying to do that but speaking for myself, death was never my intent. I ain't twenty-one anymore. It's a miracle we survived at all. It's probably true. I just wanted to feel good, you know? I was just looking for that kick, that highThese days I've got businesses to run. I know, I know. A lot of people think I didn't get to say much in The Dirt. All this talkingSo forgive me if it's a bit hard for me to s

I Got What I Wanted I liked this book because it shows who Vince is, and that's what I wanted to get by reading this book. First it seemed like a bad writing, but soon I realized it's because this is transcribed from recorded interviews. Some of the Amazon customer reviews say that some of the content is redundant, but I think it's because the transcriptions weren't really edited. I assume Vince intended to be that . "Otherwise a good" according to Rose Shultz. The writing is a bit all over the place. So takes some getting use to. However I feel (but am not sure) that Vince himself is a bit all over the place so that is fitting.I only gave it Otherwise a good The writing is a bit all over the place. I bought this book a while ago and sometimes read a few chapters when I have time to sit down with a book. After reading a couple of autobiographies of rock musicians, I figured to give this ook a chance. I have read The Dirt before reading this book, so I was hoping for something equally entertaining.I was wrong. The book starts out interesting with information about his childhood, and the rise o
