Not many notes or bars would fit per page so I'm not sure its very practical for my purposes.Unless it's very short, one song would take up several pages. It's not for writing an instrumental composition (like for the piano) because you'd have to use half of the book. Its a good place for your ideas. High quality and very useful Amber Gave it as a gift to my songwriting father and he loves it. Wish there was a place to write chords along the staff, but he can squeeze them in. Wish I took a picture of the inside of it before giving it away..
