It was hard to read, but if the story had been better and more plausible, I would not have minded. Because it was written ending to beginning, you find out at the end (which is the beginning) that people were killed, but it was conveniently left out of the book, because you would lose interest in the character and what he did an hour ago, if you know he's already dead.
