I've been investing and doing a lot of reading in this area since the 1970's, and, for me anyway, I discovered that if I came away with just one or two new ideas after reading a book it was well worth the time it took to read it. The trick is to take away what you can use in your personal investing approach and ignore everything else. No on. Mostly fluff If you are looking to get deep insight into how Jim Cramer made his money, you won't find it here. Cramer frequently talks about being an investor on fundamentals throughout the book, but than literally never addresses anything related to fundamentals. A lot of focus on macroeconomics. Specific megacap stocks and their CEOs are called out but not any characteristics to look for in companies or leaders. A couple of tidbits of info about listening to earnings CCs and targeting secular growth leaders were good reminde. Get Nowhere, ASAP James Cramer, Esq. fails to deliver in “Get Rich Carefully”. Throughout the book Jim manages to fellate the CEO of each Dow constituent and other blue chips without providing true insight on how to dominate the market.
