"Solid Mid-Tier Guidebook" according to GMAT Club (Expert). If you are new to the GMAT, Kaplan Premier is a good book to start with - it provides a good intro to the test (explains the mechanics, basic principles, gets you familiar with the test structure, etc), has solid strategies that you can use regardless of your level, and finally, comes with 5 Adaptive tests. Think of it a starter camera/computer/car/etc - you don't want to start with anything expensive before you know what you are lo. The Helpful Dad said For the money it is a great resource - Helped me get into the Mid 600's. If you are going to take the GMAT and you have time to study then do yourself a favor and get this book. It's really all you need to score in the mid 600's and perhaps crack 700.
