Pat said What A Chase!. The Case is another fantastic Clive Cussler book in the Isaac Bell series. Everyone of these books are exciting and do a great job of transporting you back in history. These books are obviously very well researched.Most of this book has Isaac chasing a vicious bank robber. I love the descriptions of San Francisco especially the descriptions of the great earthqu. They found a train WHERE? This was my second Cussler book. I liked The Gangster and I also liked this one. Cussler tells a good tale based on some historical settings that are interesting and engaging. The San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906 provides an interesting backdrop and since this is the first of the series, explains how our hero met his femme fatale (who also appears in T.
