Unprofessional Not only is this survey not "complete", as other reviewers have noted, but it is full of breezy statements concerning specific details without any footnotes or references. Each chapter simply has a Further Reading list which often contains nothing remotely related to the intriguing statements Spawforth tosses out. (I can certainly pull . "Great coffee table book" according to Amazon Customer. Beautiful and informativeLove it. Right up my alley. Five Stars If you are a classics major, you need this book!
