Insightful Jeanie This was required reading for a psychotherapy class that I took, but I would have enjoyed reading it either way. The chapters were short, the language was easy, and the writing felt very intimate. I found it infinitely interesting to hear about the experiences of someone who has practiced psychotherapy for so long, there were many things I would have never even considered - either as patient or therapist. Get it and read it, if you are a therapist or plan to be one; take it one chapter at a time if you are a client or patient - use it on your journey; humble yourself to try something new, again, better, different, old school, if you are a therapist and don't have time for anything but earning your CEU's. Take your time! Be in the here and now when you read it! Breathe deep breaths. Notice your responses to the gifts he has given and to what he has received and ask if
