A tremendous read P. Blevins Woman of God is a novel by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. This is definitely not a typical James Patterson book, although there are parts that let you know it is his writing. This one deals with one’s faith and faith in the Catholic Church. In this time of change, the Church is having to change in order to accommodate the changing beliefs of the people. Lightening up on some of the restrictions on the Church is one of the ideas that is explored in this book. Another belief that is questioned is the presence of women priests. I really liked this book although being raised Catholic it was pretty I really liked this book although being raised Catholic it was pretty far fetched when it comes to allowing women ministers in the church. That being said, this was similar to Patterson's books about Maximum Ride etc. While the reader knows it is ridiculous, as you are reading you are drawn in and don't think about the unlikely events happening or not happening. You just pull for the characters and take it in stride as if it happens every day.
