This book is the book equivalent of the movie Gone With The Wind-yes its that epic. The love story is beautiful and gut wrenching set in the back drop of World War II. Amy's descriptions put you squarely in every scene. I experienced every single emotion during the reading of this book and yes, there were tears. Angelo and Eva will capture your heart and cling to your soul. I found myself reading this book and needing absolute quiet. I didn't want the world intruding
