Although his music isn't fast for me to learn, once I learn it I play it frequently. He is such a diverse and talented arranger that his books are always a joy. Unless you are an advanced level performer with diverse skills, you may find this book too difficult to put to use. However, if you are a late intermediate student, you would find this book is excellent for learning and practicing a wide variety of techniques.. Ben K said Beautiful. I only like one arrangement in this book, which is "Shall We Gather At the River?/Near to the Heart of God" That one is one of the most beautiful sacred pieces I have.
